    My first escapeeeeee!

Coming up on 1 year I finally experienced my first escaped bp mmmmmmm x4 lol. Well not lol but boy am I not smart sometimes!

K, I have my new adult 21 rack system in place. Last night I figured I would temporarily move the juveniles over to the empty spaces and take some time to clean the 10 rack system they were in real good top to bottem.

I moved 8 over to the adult racks, cleaned the 10 rack system and when I was done thought it is 10 and I'm going to bed.

This morning I am checking on the bps and when I go to push the tub back in it wont go all the way back?!?!?! I look back there and see the juvenile from below way in the back. I was like what in the whohaa happened?

Well the adult racks have a gap on the edges to get the heat tape thru and of course they are above the tubs below. Well 3 out of the 4 were behind the rack above chillen out. My male fire at 770 grams or so is yet to be found. The good news is this is in the lowest level of the house and has no floor vents and all doors were close. So he is down there somewhere....the games begin.....

ps....my wife took it suprisingly well lol, her response "dont you think if you keep ball pythons you should be smarter then them?" I had no response lol.

anyways.....that was my boring story for the week

    Re: My first escapeeeeee!

Yeah I had two escapes night after night Monday and Tuesday. I havent been sleeping much so I attribute it to fatigue, but the first night my PH Pied female escaped and I found her within minutes of noticing her missing, hiding out behind the rack. Yesterday morning I come home and went to check on my ASFs and found my lesser asleep on top of their mesh screen, waiting for them to finish the hole they were chewing in the top. They almost escaped too, but that's a whole nother story and actually made me build them a tub later that day(yesterday). He was angry at me for bringing him back to his tub without feeding so I gave him the ring leader of the ASF chew group as a treat.

    LOL at your wife's reaction.
