    I'm still kicking around

Sorry I haven't been active online much at all lately. Life and stuff and junk, you know.

I'm gearing up for breeding season for the ball pythons. Hopefully this season will be a GOOD ONE finally. I need a good season. The newest hatchlings, 2 ate, 1 still has not. I assist fed finally, just tucking the pink into their mouth and leaving them. One spat the pink out no matter what, the other two ate. Hopefully they continue to eat.

The blackthroat monitors are doing well. I was told Moggie 'might' lay a second clutch, but I've seen no signs of that, so I assume she will not. She has regained most of the weight she lost laying eggs, and loves to be outside in the sun when I'll let them stay in the outdoor pen(only when I'm home to supervise). The eggs(3) are still in the incubator looking decent. There's a LOT of movement in one of the eggs, and I'll try to video it soon.

My new african fat tail geckos are doing ok, but haven't gained enough grams to breed them this year, unless the two larger females gain like.. 10 grams in a month. They are right about 40g, when they should be 50g to breed.

In non-reptile news, I've been writing a lot of GI Joe fanfiction storys, which have been well received. I enjoy writing a lot, and this has been great fun. Work is still going well, with an occasional slow week, but overall, good.

My health is about the same, some days good, some days bad. Last week was the anniversary of my husband's death, which is always a hard time.

I'm working on some costuming, for DragonCon next year. I should have a few different new costumes, which will be fun. I'm also the proud new owner of a vietnam era flak jacket, and a steel pot helmet will be arriving next week.

Other than some minor house repairs making me tear out my hair, not much more to tell I guess. My neighbor boys have been doing my yard work mostly, so it looks decent, for the first time in years. I even have plants in each of the raised flowerbeds.

So, I haven't forgotten the site, if you look online, I've been missing from almost every reptile site for a while. Same on the grooming sites even. Hope everyone has been doing okay!

Glad to hear all is well with you Theresa and it is nice to know that the fact that you haven't been active online much at all lately is due to being busy and not something bad
