And to answer your question, it's hard to say without a weight or picture - but all BPs grow at different rates, so you just have to judge based on their current girth. FYI, my (approx) 1 year-old male is about 600g and 3.5 feet long. He could easily take a small-med rat, but prefers 3 mice instead.
