Zoology advice
Because my job search has gone no where, I've been thinking about going back to school to get another degree. I'm thinking about a bachelors of science in Zoology or another type of animal science. I've already received my degree in Biomedical Photography (omg for real! my parents have it at their house right now!) thats a bachelors of science degree, not a BFA.
Ive been looking at universities and colleges that actually have a zoology department (as opposed to just a major) and I've found two. University of North Carolina and Washington State University.
I was wondering if anyone had any other colleges that they knew about, or went to, or could give me their opinion on the two above colleges if you attended them.
To be honest, my first college and major seriously landed in my lap so actually searching for this isn't something i've ever done.

Some other schools I can think of with Zoology programs are Auburn and Nebraska. Going to a large university is not as necessary as one might think. Although larger universities recieve more funding, smaller schools give you smaller student to teacher ratios which in my opinion is much more beneficial to learning. I recieved my B.S. in Zoology from Kentucky Wesleyan College.

thanks for the reply
i graduated in may from RIT, its a pretty small university, from a REALLY small major. I enjoyed the small college feel honestly. Im just having a hard time finding colleges.
You figure there'd be some kind of directory for this or something. Maybe my googlefu is weak, who knows.

I go to UNC, and I just love it. I am not part of the zoology department but it is a really fantastic program. If you are looking for a school that is challenging and a campus that is beautiful and welcoming, UNC is perfect for you. There are not many people in that department so even though its a large school I think you would still get more one on one attention.

Thank you. UNC is one of the schools im looking at. I read a few reviews about the college about students not being students, just numbers, but they were from people who were in big majors (biology, physchology, etc). I was worried about that.
At RIT i got pretty spoiled, a lot of stuff was one on one and i could custom tailor my program for what worked for me (for the MOST part, there were a few things i just couldnt work through to make happen, mostly because of time constraints, etc).
