To that end I have 2 questions, is my mojave boy old enough/big enough to breed? And am I correct in assuming that If my poss. het pied boy is in fact a het pied, then statistically when bred to my normal female the babies would be 50% normal and 50% het pied? This is my first attempt at breeding, before jumping in with both feet and investing in some more of the higher end morphs.

The answer to question 1 is, he is old enough and it will not hurt him to try.
As to question #2 If the male is in fact het pied, each egg has a 50/50 chance of picking up the pied gene. That does not guarantee that half will be het pied it just means they each have a 50% chance.
