I don't know, but I'm obsessive with my hand sanitizer... especially with the variety of animals I handle daily. I also got addicted to that stuff in my public library jobs, since you wouldn't believe the dirtiness I encountered every day - from both the books and the patrons. Doesn't seem to overload me, far as I can tell, since I get sick an average number of times (about 1-2 times a year).

Hand sanitizer kills off a large quantity of bacteria, the ones that are left then have no competition for resources and your typical bacterial generation is 20 minutes or so. If you use the Hand Sanitizer you are making the resistant bacteria more likely to reproduce. Hence all you are doing is growing strong bacteria.
Welcome to how MRSA and other resistant diseases came about. They wouldn't be out like they are now if we didn't get so picky about how clean we make everything. We just keep giving them more and more room to reproduce in.

I'm sure they are worried about more important things. I was just stating that once it gets in the jail, it gets around pretty quick.

I dunno... kids can be awfully stubborn, and incredibly forgetful! You could tell them something 1000 times, and they'll still play dumb the next time you remind them.

I've been drinking TONS of orange juice so maybe that's why I haven't really been feeling THAT sick, but still feel neacious (sp?). It's like on and off though, but normally at night (for some reason) the neasia is like really bad.
Hopefully it'll be over soon LOL.

I haven't caught the flu, but I caught a cold. I forgot how much I hate being sick
My boyfriend and I are planning on getting the H1N1 shot. We have plans, but who knows if we'll actually go out and do it. I've never gotten the flu shot, but I'm thinking it might be time to start doing it, maybe next season. I'd rather pay $25 than feel like crap for 5-6 days.
Anyone else have plans on getting the H1N1 shot? Do you think you'll really do it?
