Well, there you go. I know a Ball isn't a Blood, but the fact that a Blood can "hold it" for 5mo made me wonder how long a Ball can "hold it". Mine eats like a champ, so far. I've had him for a little over three weeks, and we've seen no poop (after one mouse fuzzy, then two more mouse fuzzies, and an adult mouse at his last feeding). I figured I'd be taking him and a fecal sample to the vet within the first month. How long should they reasonably "hold it"? If you're saying you get poop every two weeks, at a minimum, then we're past that. At what point should I be concerned?
As I said, he looks like he's about to shed, so maybe he'll poop after that. My plan was to take him to the vet after his first poop (so we can test for parasites at the same time he gets a general check-up and gets sexed). My concern is when I should sound the alarm about the lack of poop.
