What heat pad to use for plastic tub?

I'm going to get a tub as soon as I have this figured out. What do you guys use to heat your tubs? Specific brand names are appreciated-I want something that is compatible with plastic. Also, how do you set them up? Do you ever worry about it burning your bp, in case it goes under the substrate? (I do use a thermostat) Thanks.

Any UTH will work just fine as long as you are using a thermostat.
I like to use the zoomed UTHs.

They say they aren't compatible with plastic but that is if they are left unregulated.

If you have a good thermostat and a good digital thermometer than there should be no risk of burning your animal. Just make sure you are measuring your temperatures from the bottom of the tub under the substrate.

i use/used flexwatt with a thermostat. Thermometer or temp gun as well for measuring temps more.

I wouldn't recommend zilla mats simply because mine found out a way to burn itself up even though I Had monitored it for two days with a rheostat and a temp gun. pet store said it keeps happening with the new shipment and they don't know why. Thankfully, the zillas have been pulled off the shelf. Getting comped a zoomed today.
