    Re: great feeding response but...

so I left sylar alone for another week and tried a fresh killed rat and he didn't take it... so I filled his cage with crumpled up paper towels (since I don't have newspaper) and I was just wondering where I should place the rat so he will be most likely to eat it just outside his hide or on the other side of the cage or on top of his hide or something else? and I made sure to scent his cage before for like 5 hours or so

This is a f/t or pre-killed item? I'd just make sure it was nice and warm and place it in front of his hide (where he is), leave the paper in the enclosure and just walk away. Check back in about an hour.
