Tips on F/K or F/T

ok so my ball python use ot take F/K / F/T. well she hasnt been taking F/K so i thought id give her live, well the mouse bit her BUT i took the mouse off before the mouse could get deep or enough to make her keep bledding, i just want tips on what works best on feeding F/K or F/T.

I guess f/k would be better then f/t ,
f/k is just as safe as f/t "Apart from defrosting wrong" and f/k would be the closest thing to live ,

we all know how bps sometimes get with feeding but I guess the majority would take on f/k as to f/t?

I got a ball python back in august that in hindsight I shouldn't have purchased from who I did. Anyways, the first two feedings, she did great on f/t, then all of a sudden she just quit eating. At this point I decided to try feeding live, but she still refused to eat. After about 3 weeks of refusing to eat I was starting to panic!

After a few calls to out-of-town and reputedly very expensive herp vets, I decided to try one "last ditch" effort with f/t. I had read on a few sites to open the brains so the snake can smell them. So I thawed another rat and then poked a few holes in the skull. Amazing, the next morning the rat was gone! She has done this with one more "brained" in the past week, and has most recently eaten one f/t with intact skull. I am hoping we are out of the woods on this latest issue!

I only wish I'd visited all the different reptile forums to find out about the seller before I got her. Since she's been here, I've dealt with mites, a hunger strike, and mild scale rot. All this for a gal that just wanted another ball python after 20+ years without one. For the amount of time and money I've shelled out to help this snake, I could have bought one from a more reputable breeder!
