I wouldn't buy a pet from petco or any other pet store really . Do some research on here, kingsnake, and fauna . That might help you choose a type of lizard and also lead you to a good breeder and other educational sites . You also may want to try your nearest reptile rescue if this will just be a pet . good luck to you. Whatever you choose make sure to have your new pet's home ready prior to it coming home . This will make both of your lives much more pleasant .
