Feeding after Blue phase
Hi
My guy has just finished his cloudy blue phase of his shed cycle, can I feed him now, or wait until he has actually completed his shed?
Thanks!

Re: Feeding after Blue phase
I always offer food on feeding day, no matter if they are in shed or not. Some snakes won't eat, but unless I've had a snake long enough to "know" it won't eat during shed, I'll always offer food on feeding day.
I've also never had a snake that wouldn't eat while it was in shed, if it was hungry, but I've known a couple snakes not in my care that refused during shed.
Go ahead and offer

I also always offer on feeding day. Most of my BPs will take the food even if they are in the deep blue phase.

I read somewhere that it's not supposed to good to feed during shed but i forget where i read it. But i'm like everyone else, I always feed or offer during shed and they alwsys eat. I guess you can go a little undersized in the meal.

It's easy to theorize that bothering a snake in shed will stress it out. They have a hard time seeing, are itchy (I presume) and uncomfortable.
Then again, if my pet is hungry, I'm going to feed it.
