    Breeding in shed???

Can you breed a female if she is in shed? Or a male if he is in shed? Never came across this question or answer so I figured I would be the noob for all of us wondering the same thing!

    Re: Breeding in shed???

Well if it is any consolation I was told that they say it is better if the female is in shed because something about the pheramones on the female are stronger and makes the male more interested but doesn't benefit much if the male is in shed. I will let you know if it works! LOL

    Re: Breeding in shed???

well seems like everyone cycles their animals 3 days on 3 days off or w/e they do, so your bound to have one of them be in shed at some point. Im attempting my first breeding currently, I've never seen them lock in shed, but they could be when im not looking.

    Re: Breeding in shed???

I tried it last year just to see, once when the female was in shed, once when the male was in shed. No hook ups during those times. However, once they shed the went right back to breeding.

    Re: Breeding in shed???

I saw pictures of male in shed breeding.

It will be my first year breeding too. I think if one is in shed, I wouldn't try breeding them unless they are already locked. When I have a snake in shed, I try to disturb them the less possible.
