    I Don't have a temp gun... So that's pretty much a guess.. Their 100W bulbs On Top Of their tanks..

    You should buy some sort of heat monitoring device and a thermostat. Not to mention your snakes would love it if you heat them from under the tanks with a UTH. That would probably solve all of your problems. Let us know what changes you make and how it works out.

    Yeah i'm looking into buying or building a rack... hence why i don't want to dump anymore money into these tanks.. but if i have to i will.... i'll buy some UTH'S Once they finally get settled into their perm place....

    A 100 watt lamp is probaly frying them! I use a 75 watt on my scorpion and I have to dim it down about half way! You need a digital thermometer with a probe to properly measure temps! You will be surprised on the difference from what it is to what you thought! I thought my temps where good until I used a digital and my temps were abut 100 on the warm side. You can also use the digital thermometer in you rack in the future so it won't be wasted money!
