Re: Wow! mMost obvious scam ever!
My mom stupidly got scammed by someone from around that area. She was looking to meet a guy over the internet, and came upon this one idiot. Soon enough she was getting packages in the mail, having to send those to some places, yada yada ya... Next thing you know she's got cops banging on her door and she's being questioned. The cops laughed when she told them all he promised her was to be with her when he "came back from Doctors without Borders", and she laughed with them too.
They were using stolen credit cards to purchase stuff, and since my mom had a hand in it (without knowing) the people could have pressed charges against her, but they didn't, thank god. I couldn't believe my mom actually fell for this stupid scam. I'm glad some people have a head on their shoulders!

Re: Wow! mMost obvious scam ever!
I get those type of e-mails in my spam folder every other day. I also get the ones when im selling on Graigslist stating that they will send me a money order and a friend will pick up the object for sale the next day. There are alot of people that just see $ signs..
