Nope. It's like putting ice cream in the fridge..just isn't' cold enough.
From wikipedia: "CO2 changes from a solid to a gas at −78.5 °C (−109.3 °F) with no intervening liquid form" If your freezer gets that cold(which it doesn't), yeah it'd work, otherwise your dry ice will "melt".
*sublime If something goes from solid to gas without going through a liquid state it is undergoing sublimation.
