    These prices Just keep droping

I want Bee's but cant afford the 1200 so i went out and bought a spider 400, and got a hundred of my lemon so pick her up for 200. Browsing kings snake today and now im seeing bees for 575 shipped are you kidding me. By the time i breed my own i could of just picked up a bee. There is sense of enjoyment when you produce a somewhat high priced morph. With these prices dropping so fast It takes the fun out of it. I dont know its frustrating

Don't be so focused on the money aspect of it, and maybe you'll enjoy it.

You'll save your self allot of heartache when you come to grips with the fact that a 575.00 is still a Bee if you truly enjoy bee then they could be 2.75 each and it wouldn't matter.. I love spiders. I try to produce killer looking spiders, When it comes to the prices they really don't bother me that much cause I enjoy pulling those animals out and looking at them the same way I did when there were 1100.00.

Hope that helps put your mind at ease. I you enjoy the morph more than the price tag then your good to go.

Im not focused on money. Just you plan on a morph that is expensive wich will take close to 3 years to produce. When i could of just waited and got the same morph 6 months later.

Granted but you will only have one.. Look at it like this now.. you can make as many bees as you want now.. so would you rather have one bee or bees every year?

Ya your right. I love my spider and my lemon every day im taking them out and looking at them. It just gets my frustrated people selling so cheap. Bee's are one of my favorite morphs. Maybe it gets me mad because its getting into that price range that teases me to buy one now instead of waiting.

If the prices dropping takes the fun out of producing beautiful baby Ball Pythons for you, and you lost your sense of enjoyment based on the "market value" of the offspring, it is time to stop breeding your animals and find a new hobby.

Ok maybe I didn't word it right when i said takes the fun out of it. Before people start ripping me telling me to get out of the hobby. I enjoy my snake's very much. Just saying their is a added excitement i think in producing a high priced morph. I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't get excited if you produced a new morph that would sell for 7 to 8 grand. Also for me when I see bee's going for 1200 a year ago and now 575 shipped, I look at as man i could of sold 1 bee and got money to buy more morph's im not looking at it as man I cant bank money now. I can get a lot morphs for 1200 then 575 if you get what im saying I dont know if that clears it up

I totally get what your saying..But your going to have to make up your mind whether you can deal with that.. look at Pieds I paid the average going price for a 2008 pied male.. Now I see tables at shows with them for 800.00. It blows me away but that's the nature of the beast. Try not to think of it as a drop in price but a gain in market base. all those people like you that have wanted a bee can now afford one.. Well in a few years when your proucing bees and the price has settled down all those people that have waited and dreamed will now drop that 400.00 with you. Now no its not 1200.00 but hey your still doing what you wanted right. Producing Bee's and selling snakes.. the price tag is the only thing that changed

Re: These prices Just keep droping

I purchased many of the animals that are in my collection in order to produce Combos and Supers (for myself) that I wanted, but were outside of my price range.

Many of those animals that I was longing for, are "cheaper," or to be PC, "more affordable" now and can be purchased for less money then I spent on the base morphs in order to produce them.

It does not matter to me because when I hatch out my very own BEL, Pastel Pied, Axanthic Bee, Hypo Black Pastel, Albino Genetic Stripe,......... they will be worth just as much to me as they were when I could only dream about purchasing them, nomatter what the market value of them is.
