Re: What morph is more nicer to the eye

I'm gonna be the jerk that says -- "it depends on the individual!"

I've seen some *amazing* super pastels, and some super pastels that I had to squint to see the "super." (More like a "mediocre homozygous pastel" than a "super pastel" )

I've also seen some "meh" fireflys and some WOW fireflies.

Overall, though, I have seen more NICE fireflies than NICE super pastels, so I guess I'd go with firefly ... That and I *might* be getting a firefly on Friday

Firefly arn't much as babies, yea their nice, but not like super pastels, super pastels stay nice looking their whole life. firefly need time to color up.

tho i would much rather own a firefly hands down, but i voted super pastel.

I think fireflys age better. Supers look nicer as babies though.

This is why i voted firefly. Maybe its bc it was laying on white, and sitting next to an albino. but that yellow is just way too cool. Notice how big it is, and how NICE it still looks.

    EDIT: sister took these pics.

I'm getting in a nice Banded Firefly, so I'm got it on my mind. Super Pastels can look good too.

In general, I'd have to go with firefly - even though my SP girl is smokin'! I like the BRIGHT yellows.

    Certainly depends on the individual.

Firefly's are nice, but to me a great super is awesome.

Check out these produced by Markus Jayne! (his pic).

Out of your examples I like the firefly more. But its like everyone has said each one has stunning examples.

Re: What morph is more nicer to the eye

It all depends. I've seen crappy fireflies (though not very often) that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, but a NICE firefly (y'know one that is selectively bred?) is absolutely beautiful! And the nice thing about them is they get even better looking as they get older.

It's the same with super pastels though they do sometimes brown out a bit as they get older.

For breeding purposes though I'd have to say a firefly. Gotta love a snake carrying two genes, both with a super form!
