I work for Outback Reptiles and we have a few "first" morphs such as the first imported black pastel, and of course a few new morphs that haven't been released yet. Also being an importer we have been the ones to import some of the "first" morphs that we have sold to other breeders- sometimes on purpose, sometimes as "fancy" normals that we didn't notice were quite that different
We have also sold a few of the first examples of certain designer combo morphs- like the panda pied (super black pastel pied) ball python. Won't go into pricing details but I will say some people are very interested in these kinds of things.
As far as their value, they are worth whatever somebody would pay for them- Ian keeps his for the reason that they are still good breeders and there is no reason to replace them. Some people might pay more due to the fact that they are special in a way but then again, they are really no different than any other proven breeder example of the morph.
