My friend got a new Xbox 360 when his got the redringofdeath. New serial number, so I imagine the warrenty is extended as well.

I was a huge fan of PS and PS2, but the PS3 has turned me off quite a bit. Xbox is just where it's at now.

Had a Wii for a while, got bored of it, sold it. Might get another now that they're taking a price drop. Dunno.

Just hope I get the 360 back before Assasin's Creed 2. Because the last thing I want to do is go pick it up just so I can stare at its case.

The only reason I purcahsed a ps3 was for the god of war 3 game. If it wasnt for that and the blue ray which I only have one blue ray dvd I probably would of never bought a ps3.

Yup, God of War and Metal Gear Solid are two games I'd like to get my hands on, and only on PS3.

The BlueRay player is of interest too....guess I'll just have to see how things happen lol.

I actually bought mine in a bundle with killzone 2 and metal gear solid and I still havent even opened metal gear yet

Im surprised noone used your serial number, My friends 360 got the red ring and they wouldnt fix it because someone already used his number.

microsoft didnt check the serial of the unit they was repairing,and seen it didnt match that given to them to get the repair?

People will go into walmart and write the serial number down and send there xbox thats out of warranty into microsoft to get it fixed for free

my xbox broke 3 times ......gave that to my brother and now im a PS3 man

I have had the same 360 for almost 5 years, have never had a problem.
