Best way to get pies?

I know there are different ways of getting pies, but which way would be the best? Should i just bite the bullet and get a pie for around 1500 or should i get one that's 50 percent het and breed it or maybe a 100 percent het?If there's any other ways that i haven't listed are they easy to do and will it be expensive.

Well you can get male and female 100% and wait 3 maybe 2 years or bite the bullet and buy one for 800.00 and up thats what there selling for now !
