    Breeding Temps?

Im gearing up for my first breeding season and I have a few questions about temps. How important do you consider temping down to the breeding process? Should the temps be dropped only at night? My snakes are in my basement and it gets fairly cool down there in the winter anyway, might the normal temp change be enough?
