Yeah, definitely not the snake in the picture...but still a nice snake, nonetheless!

I knew right away it wasn't the same snake...

But I went in there saying, as long as it looks healthy, I'm taking it. And so I did. That was why i wanted an extra day before I went and purchased, Didn't want to get too excited for nothing

But I'm still happy, I see it as my first (last) rescue. No UTH, No thermometers, the rocks and water dish was green from the construction paper that coverd only half the tank, no hide, he looked very dehyrdated, dry eyes, and flappy skin.

And he tried striking me about 3 times, once when i took him out from the soak (he missed) and two times from in the tank as i was just looking at him...The tank is already painted three sides and the clear side is facing the wall for now...

And the poor guy was roaming every where last night, and this morning. He's a bit stressed, but that will soon change...

I'll keep you guys posted on everything

And thanks guys for complimenting My "Fool's Gold"

Nice looking little guy there. Glad he's in better hands now. After the transaction was made and you had your new little guy in your possession, you shoulda called him out about the different snake just to get a reaction

I've noticed that normals that have not been well cared for or are sick often have a lighter then normal color to them. I hope he works out well for you.

This statement would be 100% wrong ! To think a normal ball has not been takin care of because of his lighter color makes no sense at all !

    Re: Pastel or Normal

    To Marks,

I completely agree with the statement you made about light colors on a uncared for normal. I got a little female from my cousin who wasnt fed for months and on the brink of death and she just now getting her color back(ive had her for approx, 2.5months). Where the brown was it was real light and where the yellowish color would be looks more golden.
