    he has not shed

when we first got our bp he shed quite often and now he has not shed for a while. all cage temps and humidity is perfect. we did just step him up to a rat instead of two mice. just wondering why he went into a shedding freeze. any input would be appreciated.

Growth has slowed down? Bp's grow really fast in the first months of their life.. then it slows down! Not sure when, but it does. Do you have a weight for him/her?

hehe dont even worry about it. his body knows when its time to shed. all you gotta do is provide clean water and proper humidity to make all future sheds are as easy for the both of you as possible.
