What is DUW??

i started with dial-up

i had no idea wut "DUW" is lol. but im new to the whole forum thing. getting used to certain acronyms. such as "OP"

Whats great is if you go to a different forum sometimes they use TC instead of OP (TC standing for Topic Creator)

I never would have guessed dial up warning.... I sat here for a while contemplating what the acronym could be. Theres not a ton of words that start with U so I figured if I could figure that out I could get it. It's been bugging me for a little while. Thanks for letting me in on the "warning".

HOLY BAJESUS THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've never known where Dot Matrix on Reboot got her name from. I know what dot matrix paper is but not by name simply by usage, and now I know... And knowledge is half the battle. *goes to store to buy a baseball bat and get the other half handled*

Actaully Dot Matrix is the type of printer which takes continuous form feed paper which then had to be burst and decollated after printing.

I have an old dot matrix printer sitting in the hall I never got around to throwing out - and a box of paper for it in the back room.

I'm kind of a tech pack rat - there's probably a baghdad battery around here somewhere.
