My snake escaped about three weeks ago and I was horrified. I asked my mom and stepdad to look over my snake while I was gone, which was only four two days, and I come home to an empty tub.
I tried everything. I put a live mouse in the snake room and sprinked mouse bedding throughout the house and setup a tub with a live mouse in the main room of my apartment. I tore my place apart hunting for my elusive snake. Four days passed and nothing. Then, on the fifth morning, my mom told me to 'Come get her.' and when I saw the surprise on my face I knew she was talking about my snake. I was sooo happy to find her unharmed and curled up in my mom's underwear drawer.

Be careful about letting people, and I mean anyone, watch your snake while you're away and check everywhere. The snake's room is on the opposite side of the apartment from the other bedrooms in the house. She went through the kitchen, the living room, a bathroom, and probably even my bedroom to get into my mom's room.
