Uth on hot side plugged into a dimmer or thermostat. If your room is not temperature controlled your temps will fluctuate so a thermostat is better. In the spring and fall people like to shut off their thermostats in their house and open the windows. When the room temp changes so will the temps in your enclosure.
Usually in the summer humidity is not as much of a problem as in the winter as AC adds moisture to the air and your heater takes it out(depending on where you live). If you notice your animal going into shed you can throw a damp towel on top(2/3) of your enclosue and you can get a 15-20% bump in humidity.
