I still wouldn't do it though. To me people now days get tattoos for the wrong reason. I get a tattoo because it means something significant to me. A lot of people now a days get a tattoo because they think it makes them look cool, which is probably the case for your son, no disrespect intended also.
If you're going to let him do it thought, get his name I suppose.
