Herpstat Pro, does anyone use it for their eggs?

I was thinking I'd invest in one when I get the 42qt rack, hatchling rack and set up my incubator. So I was wondering if anyone had done anything similar with it.

I assume it would be fine, but I just wanted to check and see.

Yep, I use a Herpstat Pro for my incubator. It's very nice to receive emails, text messages, etc if there is a problem.

And yes, you can have the different outputs control the temperature of your different racks and your incubator just fine.

The Herpstat Pro will send you emails and text messages if there is a problem with the temps going too high/low?

I'm going to use the herpstat nd II for a hatchling rack and incubator. I would definitely want a pro if I had a room that wasn't my bed room I could devote to Snakes and get the txt alerts. Is there anyway to do it with herpstat II?

Yes, if you purchase the bundle as well. Your current temps, temp settings, high temps, and low temps are also viewable online.

You can get it for the Herpstat II as well:
Device status is viewable online with emergency e-mail and vtext alerts (USB cable and software required).

Wow, nice timing with this thread! I was just reading about the Herpstat Pro, and I'm thinking of getting one for controlling all my different racks. They have so many more options than a Helix, and they're much cheaper.

Didn't know it could send e-mails/texts if things are going wrong, though. Makes me re-think perhaps getting the software stuff....
