Re: Have anyone you ever witnessed your snake shed?

I've never seen my snake shed...but I sorta helped him start his first shed. I was holding him and he started rubbing his face all over my shirt. I wasn't sure what he was doing, but let him do it. I put him back and the next morning, he left a perfect shed in his tank. I guess he used my shirt to start the process

I got a video last year of Milton shedding. Caught almost the whole shed!

Yes, and I was able to film most of it and posted it here a few weeks ago. Fascinating!

Re: Have anyone you ever witnessed your snake shed?

I have video of both Mona and Toby shedding, which I (think) I've posted on the forums. I also caught Mona in her shed last week, and she totally gave me that "deer in headlights" look. I was just checking to see if it had happened yet, and lifted her cave... she was about half done, and just looked ticked when I interrupted. I apologized, replaced the cave, and watched from the outside. Way cool!

Re: Have anyone you ever witnessed your snake shed?

A couple shots of Mona's assisted shed, which I got to witness from beginning to end... happy to say that ALL of my snakes have perfect sheds now, since moving them into tubs/rack.

Quite a difference between the old and new skin...

I've done the opposite quite a bi more. I've helped them get the shed off their heads, which is a lip-biting process when you're working forwards instead of backwards like it should.
