    He broke the skin :(

I made a big mistake last night I had some friends over and they wanted to see and hold the snake so I took him out of his tank and let them hold him. One of my friends asked what he ate and I showed him one of the frozen mice. However I forgot to wash my hands and when I was given the snake back he struck me twice breaking the skin. Oh well it doesn't hurt at all and was my fault for not washing my hands.

Haha my iPhone camera sucks and I can't find my digital camera. He's still a baby so it's a small bite. He's struck at me before but never bit oh well I guess it comes with being a snake owner.

Hopefully he doesn't wind up with a hairball. Poor snake.

Lay off my hairy arms! It's more superficial than anything. I felt a little sting and one of my friends was like "holy poop he just bit you!". I didn't see the actual bite happen just felt it

LOL... I've been tagged twice now, once by Delilah (sub-adult), and once by Pedro the hatchling. Doesn't hurt, but it does startle you - huh?! And yeah, that's why I ALWAYS wash my hands after handling prey.

Actually, it doesn't really matter with Toby... as I discovered when I had to hold a mouse in one hand, with Toby in the other. Long story on why that happened, but luckily he didn't even try to bite me - or the mouse.
