Painting - what kind?
Okay maybe this question sounds stupid.
Im thinking about painting the hide in my tub, and has actually already bought a normal spraycan to do the job, and then i was wondering if that would be any problem for my BP, or if there is something special paint who is better for the snake?
Prolly doesnt mean a thing, but better safe than sorry

I... wouldn't really suggest it unless you absolutely want to.
It does matter, on a whole, most paints have varying degrees of VOC's (which have been known to cause illnesses/deformities) which means you should probably find a paint that has very low or zero VOCs. Stay far away from ones with metal (like lead, mercury, etc) and oil based paints.
I would try to find out what kind of stains/paints/sealants most hide-makers/water bowl/food bowl makers use.

In that thread, she paints a hide that she made herself, you can look at what kind of paint she used and go from there
