    Yearling Dumeril's

This is my yearling Dumeril's. Well, almost a yearling. She's right around 500g and hands down the nicest snake I've ever encountered. I doubt I could get her to strike at me if I tried (unless it involved food), not that I would try.

Dum's are very cool. I have a breeding pair myself. Had a bad year this year though, 1 still born and 3 slugs. Last year she had 2 baby's and 2 slugs. I will be giving her this year off.

    ERRRRRGGGG!

I want one of those so badly! I even have a big tank set up and ready to go. I need to become independently wealthy so hubby can't break out the money argument every time I want a snake.

Beautiful baby there. I absolutely adore the pattern. I think they look so much better than the Mad. ground boas, despite the price difference. Thanks for sharing!

Man I love the Dumeril's! My girl kind of hates me though, I have no idea why. I could get her really mad within such little time, but I don't even mean to. Anyway, you have a beautiful Dumeril's boa, it looks very adorable :].

What a looker! I love how she maintained a little of the rosy color, just lovely. <3

I'm hoping to pick one up at Tinley in October!

They truly are amazing snakes. From their coloring, to their feel, to their temperment, there is just no other snake that compares imho.

I'll tell ya what...if you don't already have one by her first breeding season, I'll give you one of her first clutch. Granted, thats another 3.5-4 years away, but hey...I'll stay true to my word if you feel like holding out. Hopefully for your sake, you have one by then though...I know I couldn't possibly wait that long. I simply want someone who loves these snakes to have an opportunity to own one.

Thanks for the compliments all, she is my absolute favorite.

Dumerils are very cool- kind of like the ball python of the boa world, only quite a bit larger

But they take forever to grow!
