    shedding?

    I have a young female normal that hasnt changed color, her eyes arent cloudy, the humidity in her tank is kept between 50% and 60%. heres my problem, the skin on her belly and only her belly is flaking in places.

    is this normal?

    First of all, welcome to BP.net!

    Depending on what you mean by "flaking", she may just be getting ready to shed. One of my males tends to have parts of his skin on the sides of his belly come off a few days before he actually sheds.

    Also, you may get more responses to questions like this in the Ball Python Husbandry or the General Ball Python forum.

    7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
