mom's behaviour with new babies
so i looked into the tub where the new rats are, and momma decided to move them out of the bare corner into their hide. she ferried each one of them across individually in her mouth, but with 2 of them she stopped off and gave them to dad. he didn't really do much with them. now he's in the hide, and she's running in the wheel, and the 2 babies she left with dad are helplessly rolling around in the shavings. is this normal? is there a possibility these babies are "defective" and going to get eaten?

Re: mom's behaviour with new babies
Sounds normal to me... sounds like the wifey poo is pushing the kids off on dad so she can hit the gym. If there is a fix for that I sure would like to know about it!

Min switch their nest around every week it seems. Gives a couple to dad and he just lays there with them looking miserable because he cant hit the snack bar.

Yeah I cant do CSI anymore, SVU ruined every other show in the genre for me.
