    Sumatran Short-Tail Update

    Here's the clutch of Sumatran Short-Tails I hatched out just over a month ago, they've all had 3-4 feeds and are doing great, real calm personalities and just a pleasure to work with. I hatched out 12, ending up with 4 Males and 8 Females (My Holdback Female is absent from pictures!);

    Girls;

    Boys;

    As always, my photography isn't the best, and I lose a lot of the true colour on these things, but you get the idea!

    I was actually just going to make a post asking about these guys. Is that second male one of the dark ones you hatched out? I'm assuming your holdback female would be the second one?

    The second Male was one of the darkest, the photos really don't do any justice!
    My Holdback Female wasn't photo'd, but she's the blackest and biggest of the lot!

    Think we got our lines crossed. I remember when you first posted the hatchling there were two that were pretty much black right out of the eggs. That's what I meant by the "second one."

    My bad! Sorry, getting late over here this side of the pond!

    Yeh! My Hold back Female was the original "Black" fresh out of the egg pictured in my hands in the original thread!

    You should take some pictures of that girl, those two black ones were the main reason I was going to ask how this clutch was doing.
