Wow- for that stage they look way too dry to me. Since you have them on a grate you can absolutely saturate that substrate with no danger to the eggs-and I would do so.

Any other opinions?

What Chambers suggests is what I would do- with that egg crate, your not risking the eggs to add moisture. Dented that much suggests 1 of 2 things- an early hatch or TOO DRY. Adding moisture won't hurt & may help.

The mixture of vermiculte you mentioned is for eggs laying right on the vermiculite. When you are doing the substrateless incubation on the grate they can be directly over straight water since they never touch it. Looks like you are way to dry. You cant be too wet if they never touch the substrate. It is only a problem when the eggs are directly on the substrate and absorb the water.

They look way too dry for the amount of time they have been incubating.

But if you read post #5 he already dumped water in the mix after a couple of weeks into incubation and he added the bowls at the same time.

I have added water constantly throughout, and just added half a delicup full more. I just hope there is no risk of the eggs getting dripped on.The vermiculite was very wet already now its soupy. I thought I was doing ok with the humidity at 100% didnt think it could go higher. They are still moving so do you figure they should be alright?

I ran out of vermiculite this year and had a few clutches on perlite. 2 weeks in they were dimpled and I redid the mixture. The eggs stayed as they were and never plumped back up. After redoing the mixture I left them alone the rest of incubation and they all hatched fine. Now they were already dimpled, as you say your's were, and then they will dimple more, like yours, when it is getting close to hatch time. They will be fine leave them alone.
