Respiratory Infection?
I had my baby burm out yesterday, (sorry this isn't in the Giant Python section, there is a little more traffic here so i thought more people might answer here) and noticed every once in a while he would breath pretty Raspy, i guess you could say... Every time he would hiss, it just wasnt a smooth hiss... I had also just changed him over to aspen in a 20 gallon tank... So immediately i moved him over to a really warm and humid tub... He's on paper towels now.. I left him in there for a day to see if things get better, and they did. He doesn't really do the raspy hiss thing anymore, but still will do it occasionally... There is no snot bubbles/mucus, or anything like that.. he looks totally fine, and just has a raspy hiss/breath... Its getting better each day (Less raspy hissing/breathing)... Does this sound like an RI? If you guys think it sounds like one, and his raspy hiss/brathing doesn't go away soon, i will have no problem taking him to the vet.. If i do take him, what are they going to do? What will they give me? How much does it averagely cost? LOL sorry for all the questions, im a bit nervous right now.. He's my Baby!
Thanks Guys!

Re: Respiratory Infection?
Sounds more like some sort of reaction to the Aspen. Although, Aspen has been proven to be safe for most reptiles.
Keep an eye on him for the next couple days and proceed accordingly.
The fact he is showing improvement with the changes you've already made, is a good sign.
