Let her settle in for a week before handling. After 7 days, try feeding her. Then give he 1-2 days of no handling to allow her to digest.1. Just got her yesterday and let her sit for about a day and half do you think it is a good time to start holding her or should i still get acclimated before holding her.
I think aspen, paper towels, or newspaper are the best substrate options2. Right now i have her on aspen bedding no ceder or pine of course but is there a better substrate besides repti carpet i cant stand cleaning it.??
As long as the heat pad is controlled with a thermostat or at least a dimmer, it will be fine. You should measure your temps with a digital thermometer with a probe. Put the probe right on the glass under the substrate over the heat pad. It should be 92-94* on the heat pad. As long as the ambient temp of the room is above 75* the snake should be fine with just a heat pad.3. She is in a 10 gallon tank and has a heating pad underneath will this be efficient enough heat. and do i need to mist. My boa i do so i want to make sure.
Ideally you shouldn't have to mist the tank. You should have a digital hygrometer to measure humidity. It should be between 50-60% normally and 70% during shed cycles.
