The best advice I can give you is to go with your gut. Take some time tonight and go through various breeder sites online (we can provide tons of links). See what makes you go WOW, what just fascinates you then buy the male that will help you work toward that morph. There's so many combinations possible that in a lot of ways it just comes down to what appeals to each of us. The only other advice is to go with the best possible example of that morph you can afford. To get a "sorta nice" pastel for instance because it was on sale is pointless I think when you are looking at foundation animals for a breeding future. You might save a bit of cash now but you may not produce the quality of morph you are looking for down the road.
