    not all het pieds have a marker, just some do, and some ringers are not het pied.... so i wouldn't bet on anything. just if you have a pied breeding, ringers tend to be hets. "tend" highly stressed.

    but if it was a combo that didn't involve mojave, my thoughts.... even if the ringer was gonna show up you wouldn't even be able to see it in a lucy. only way to tell would be breeding. and even if you hit the grand lucy pied, you still wouldn't be able to tell, but breeding it to another pied would make 100% lesser (or w/e) pieds which would be awesome.

    but the offspring would be more the lookers. i think it be a bad project for a small time breeder personally. id think you want to go for something visually different. but power to ya if you do make a pied lucy.
