    flipping the water bowl

so my ball python has gotten in the habit of flipping over his water bowl every night so that when we wake up his tub is completely soaked. ...is that normal? At first i though it was by accident, the water bowl is some what light and he could be clumsy, but its happened pretty much for the past two weeks straight so now im thinking that its not an accident.

I've moved him in a 15q tub about 3 weeks ago in hopes that he would start eating again, but he hasnt yet so im still waiting on that...

    Re: flipping the water bowl

Flipping the bowl is just something that happens in the course of the snake cruising around at night. They crawl over it...and it flips. Try using a heavy crock with a wide, flat bottom and low sides. Those won't flip when the snake crawls over them.

    Re: flipping the water bowl

Drives me nuts waking up in the morning, seeing paper towel soaking wet, have to go to work but I wouldn't be able to let any of my snakes lay in wet paper towel all day.. Last thing I want to be do in the morning is change wet paper towel! haha
