Wiggly worms...

I was trying out some camera settings today and figured I would attempt to snap a few pictures of my Scarlet kings. One photographed well....the other wouldn't sit still and kept biting me. Just thought I would share.

Pictures of the my female without a flash.


Same picture but with a flash. I prefer no flash with this setting.


The one that wouldn't sit still. I like how his yellow bands turn orange for the last band near his head.

Me too! Definately my favorite coloration on milks. They would look just like any of the other milks ... But their red eyes and head make them so different.

Nice shots! If you have Photoshop, you could try adjusting the color a little on the first picture, to get some of the blue out and give it a warmer glow, without using the flash. Just a tip, though there's nothing wrong with the image as is. I agree that most shots come out better without direct flash.

I love the naturalistic look of the picture, too
