One of my breeder females has spent the past week on the cool side of her tub. She's still eating, but the only time she's gone to the warm side was yesterday for a few hours after she downed her rat. I threw one of my pastel boys in there before the weekend and while I didn't observe any locks (he's 450g, so possibly not yet mature), the two of them stayed stuck together like glue. After two days I removed him so he'd be willing to eat on feeding day. Today I decided to offer her the largest of my males, a pretty banded normal that was 520g before his feeding. I left for a while, and when I got home he had come out of the hide and was neatly coiled with her, tail to tail with a slight wrap going on. There was no lock or evidence of one, but he's at least close. He's a virgin, and she's a proven breeder, so I'm crossing my fingers that they get busy soon! I wouldn't mind having some daughters from him, he's a good lookin' guy

Here's one of him with another of my females. He's the darker one. Not a full banded, but he's lacking the busy pattern and alien heads that my other normals have.

Ty! They actually moved over to the warm side (he moved, she followed, lol). More cuddling and tail wrapping, but no locks. He's at least courting her I guess.

He's definitely courting her now. Lots of tail wrapping and rubbing her with his claws, plus she's flicking her tail around when he's crawling on her, settling down once he's in position. I haven't observed any penetration yet, but he's trying. The longest he's stayed in position with her is about 20 minutes and then he goes back to crawling on her and rubbing, lol.

I put my pin in with the other female about an hour ago, and he too is trying to court. He has his tail up under her moving it around and rubbing her with his claws, although the goober is no where near her vent. Right now he's stroking her midsection, lol.
