Re: A good win for pitbull owners.

That is especially nice to see in that area of Kansas. I lived in leavenworth, and in nortonville (neither are very far from hutchinson). Over the past 6 years, it was really hard to see so many cities (Independance, MO recently) take up arms against a breed of dog without actually knowing much about them. Another case of people fearing something they don't really know much about. It is nice to see someone is taking a stand.

Yes! Very good news! Lets hope others follow their example, but I doubt it. BSL is crap, ANY dog can be dangerous.

That is really great news! I wish more people would realize it isn't the breed but the owner that causes a dog to get that way. I hate having to lie to people about the breed of my dog just because she has some pit in her. She is the sweetest dog ever and has never shown any aggression towards anyone.

I know, it's terrible. Although, I have to say... If anything, I think you should use your pitbull mix as an ambassador of the breed. People need to start looking at facts instead of just listening to the media. More and more pitbulls far surpass other dogs in obediance training, what does this say about the breed?

Yea, I know and I usually tell them after a while of appreciating her. It's a good way to gauge their response once they've warmed up to her. Not only does she have pit in her, but she was adopted as well at a year old.
