My wife doesn't like snakes but doesn't dislike them either and I am fine with that personally. She is cool with me having them but would not have any if we were not together. The OP's question also made me think of this video: YouTube - snakebite!

That's rather good for her for drinking and getting on stage like that in front of a whole bunch of people. She was probably drunk and shes sitting there waving the snake around and then the vibration and such. I'd of bit her on her nose though, not the forehead.
Thanks for all the replies guys! I asked just to prove a point more or less, lol. My dad told me I'd never find a guy because I liked and wanted to own snakes. Of course, he's one of the few guys that thinks snakes are "icky". He didn't believe me when I said a lot of guys would like that in a girl.
Years ago, when my kids were small and I was breeding colubrids, there were relatively few women into herps. (My wife was _terrified_ at the very idea of snakes - now she wants to hold the latest pickup from whatever reptile show I've just come home from. I'm trying to tell her "I don't know what its temper is like, it's a blood python . . ." and she's like "Gimme!") Nowadays, I'm seeing a _lot_ of very happy women at the expos, and this is making me all warm and fuzzy inside.
