UTH Help needed!!!!

Hello all,
I have two tanks with UTH both on a reostats (sp)turned all the way down. I have my acurite probes under the hides and the bedding on top of 2 sheets of construction paper and the therm is still reading above 100. Is their any way to get the temps down with out a thermastat? Will putting foil on the bottom of the tank help spread out the heat? I also have heat lamps to keep cool side above 76.

What was the problem by chance I'm haveing the same one and if you figured it out your smarter then I.

I feel realy dumb but I was turning the reostat the worng way. They were ones that had no markings on them from homedepot.

I do that all of the time! Don`t worry. It`s hard to tell which side is right, haha.
