How long will it take for a BP to poop ?
Dear friends, as the title says, my BP has taken her meal 2 days ago, well until now she hasn't poop yet, what is the average time for a BP to digest its meal ?
Regards

I think it depends on their feeding schedule. Mine average about once every 4-7 days...depending on what /when they've eaten. I know they dont go like a dog or cat does!

Thanks Jordan, so if my BP ate a small meal it'll take sooner to poop than the big meal ?

I'm not really sure if size of meal matters...it's more the frequency of meals. Bigger meal does = bigger poop though. Someone can probably answer this better than me. I'm still fairly new to BP's.

They poop when they want to poop. My girl has taken 5 meals, and hasn't gone once. How old is your BP? If he/she is younger, they might be absorbing as much of that meal as possible, so there might not be much left to poop out.
BP's take 2 days to digest their food, during these two days the BP should not be handled.

It can take up to a month for a bowel movement with these guys. Don't worry about it and just keep feeding them on their regular schedule.
Let me ask you this, do you poop after every meal you have?

my bp is young and still growing. I think he absorbs nearly all his mean because at this point he is at about 6 meals= 1 poop. he usually poops immediately after a shed.

If you're feeding her in a separate enclosure, then it's ok to handle her, just to put her back into her home. Most of the people on here don't feed in a separate enclosure because it really doesn't make a difference. Well, some people seem to think it does, most don't.
