Question Would these make good hide boxes?

I was searching around on Petsmart.com and tried looking for some dog dishes that I could use for snake hides, and I'm not sure if some of these will work but this is what I found:

    http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2751813

    http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2751837

Tell me which one would make great secure hide boxes for my snakes, but I think the 1st one wouldn't really work if I flipped it over but I'd have to go down to Petsmart and actually see it in person. And when I do browse for those dishes, I will take both Candice and Monty with me to see what sizes I would most likely need.

Also, I was thinking of getting this for my Kingsnake: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=3443868

Also was looking at cat litter boxes and other stuff on Petco.com, and here is what I found (by the way, when I went on Petco's website for the dog dishes it said bowls, feeders, and waterers.. does that even make sense??):

    Water dishes:

All I need to know is which you think my snakes will feel the most secure in.

Maybe instead of spending lots of money on just bowls, try going to a 99 cent store and buy plastic bowls, they are only a buck each and come in different sizes.

I just went to wall mart and bought a couple dozen mini cat litter pans. They are a 1/4 the size of a regular litter box and they fit great in my 32qt tubs.
Think they were $1.79 each. I bought every one they had.
