I believe in hunting responsibly. I don't mind trophys on the wall, it's not my thing, but hey, as long as it was hunted responsibly and what could be used was used, I don't care what bits and pieces people want to keep.
Hunt or fish, all good to eat. I don't particularly feel bad about killing a deer as opposed to a goat or a cow. They are all critters. They were all alive at some point, minding their own business, and then someone killed them. If I kill it myself at least I know how it died, and what happened to it after it was dead.
One thing I haven't ever quite grasped is the people that say "I eat meat, but I could never kill something to eat it." Not that I'm bashing them, or saying they are wrong, I just don't quite grasp the concept. I truely believe you should remember where that meat came from and respect that it once was alive and breathing, just like you. I can sort of snatch at the outsides of the idea.. I just can't quite get there.
